Welcome to my gallery

My name is Mille Sandvad Nielsen, hence my gallery name: MiSaNie.

I am a 19-year-old girl, living in Roskilde, Denmark. On a daily basis I am studying high school online. I have asperger’s and therefore thrive best in a safe and calm environment. My asperger’s has given me quite a few positive things, e.g. being good at immersing myself in what interests me.

One day I coincidently discovered art. After that I couldn’t stop. For the last year I have been painting constantly for an average of 140 hours a month, with my school on the sidelines. It gives me peace and comfort. I use art to express myself in indirect ways, which is why, among other things, I have fallen head-over-heels for the abstract.

Art has done something good for me in many ways, e.g. given me something to look forward to every day when I have completed my study work.
